Naayak is an upcoming Tollywood film starring Ram Charan Teja, Kajal Aggarwal and Amala Paul in the lead roles and is directed by V.V. Vinayak. The film is produced by D .V. V Danayya under their banner Universal Media. The film marks the second time Ram Charan and Kajal are paired together after Magadheera. The soundtrack was composed by S. Thaman. The film began shooting in February 2012 and is to be completed by mid-December. The film is slated to release during the Sankranthi weekend in early 2013 along with a dubbed Tamil version.
